Membership

5.Acquisition of Membership

1. The Former MPs of parliament that formed under the Multiparty Democratic System according to the Nepalese Constitution, shall be eligible to acquire the General and Life-Long Membership of the Forum.
2. The Former MPs who apply enclosing the membership fee fixed by the Forum shall obtain the General or the Life-Long membership under this constitution. But the General Member should have renewed his or her membership before the inaugural session of the annual assembly meeting which shall be held each year.
3. In case of present Legislature Parliament Members, maximum 50 persons for the General Assembly and 5 persons for the Executive Committee in recommendation of patron- the speaker, in proportionate representation of parties shall be nominated and their status shall be of Invited Members.

6.Disqualification for Membership

1. Decided as a culprit in any criminal charge of moral degradation.
2. Lack of mental balance.
3. Decided as a culprit in charge of property loss of a governmental or non-governmental institution or association.

7.Termination of Membership

1. In case of not paying the membership fee,
2. In case of membership resignation,
3. In case of Member’s death,
4. In case of acting against the interest of the Forum.
